Parts Builder is a tool that helps people identify and source parts for vehicle restoration projects. We try to collect as little information as possible. This page explains what we do and don't do with your data.
Your carts, saved projects, inventory, and build sheets are stored locally in your own web browser. They stay on your device and are not uploaded to us.
When you decode a VIN, the decoding happens in your browser. We do not store or share your VIN.
Parts Builder does not sell parts or process payments. When you choose to buy a part, we send you to a third-party vendor's website. Some of those links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. Those vendors have their own privacy policies that govern any information you provide to them.
We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. This does not include selling your personal data.
